Informational exchange meeting with EU and WB consular representatives

On 27th  of September, 2012  in Hotel  Arka , in Skopje, the Seventh Informational Exchange Meeting with EU and MARRI MS consular representatives was held.
The meeting was organized by IOM and MARRI RC as part of the Project  named “Migration for Development in the Western Balkans” (MIDWEB).
The representatives from EU Delegation in Skopje and other relevant organizations, as well as EU and MARRI MS consular departments’ staff located in Skopje were present.
The participants had the opportunity to discus and exchange positive experience of  Austria in the field of labor migration.
This kind of informational exchange meeting between EU and WB consular representatives were held on a regular basis, every three months.
The main goal of the meeting was to emphasize the importance of the effective regional co-operation networks among the Consular sections in the EU and WB Embassies with Migration Services Centre in the WB in order to facilitate the entry of potential migrants to the labor markets in the EU and reinsertion of returning skilled migrants in the WB Region.
