Third Ministerial Conference of the Prague Process has been held on 20th September 2016 in Bratislava, under the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Two working sessions provided opportunity for high level participants to confer the current migration situation as well as its challenges. They have also discussed on how to tackle recognized challenges and pointed out that overall cooperation and coordination is of utmost importance.

Participating countries and representatives of the EC and international organizations agreed that activities of the Prague Process represent excellent platform for enhancing direct communication, but also presented the support to prolonging the Prague Process Action Plan.

On behalf of MARRI RC Ms. Selma Mehovic, National Representative of Montenegro participated in this event stating that the integration process with the EU is considered to be the strategic commitment of MARRI Participants and it is carried out throughout dynamic reform process of the Law Enforcement, therefore MARRI RC is committed to creating the synergy with other regional structures and international agencies in the process of improving the administrative capacities and procedures, concluded Mehovic.

The participants of the Conference adopted Joint Declaration in which manner the mandate to the Process for the years 2017-2021 was provided.
