Director of MARRI RC, ambassador Tamara Mugosa took part as one of the panelists at the International Conference titled European values and security faced with migration and refugee – a perspective from civil society, held in Skopje on 20 September 2016.

This event has been co-organized by the Institute for Geostrategic and Foreign Affairs Policy of the Macedonian Foreign Ministry, Central European Initiative, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and European Movement in Macedonia.

Mugosa took part in the first Panel entitled Migration and refugee crisis through perspective of human rights, humanitarian aid and security – Civil society organizations and governmental cooperation, international and national context.

Other panelists that took part were: Gul Gunver Turan, President of the European Movement in Turkey; Virgilio D Astoli, President of the European Movement in Italy; Vladimir Petronijevic, Executive Director of the Group 484 from Belgrade, Serbia; Ana Krasteva, New Bulgarian University – Centre for Refugees, Migration and Ethnic studies in Sofia.
