Under the Serbian Presidency-in-Office, MARRI Regional Center the Regional Committee Meeting and Regional Forum were held on 28/29 November 2011 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The Committee Meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, on 28th November 2011 beginning at 16:00h. The meeting was opened by Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Mirko Jelić. Legal and operational issues in the work of MARRI were presented at this meeting and the future activities discussed.
The MARRI Regional Forum took place in Palace of Serbia, „Belgrade” hall, on 29th November beginning at 09:30h. The Forum was opened and moderated by H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić, Deputy of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.
The highest level of participants – Ministers of Interior, National Coordinators and Committee members of MARRI Member States along with guests, representatives of diplomatic core, international and regional organizations discussed the current and future activities of MARRI in the framework of regional cooperation and regional ownership.
After the MARRI Forum, a press conference was organized by the host H.E. Mr. Ivica Dačić at 11:15h.
