Project “Joint comprehensive approach in building co-operation between MARRI and SEPCA Member States’ border police on international airport border crossing points”

Kick-off meeting of the Project Strategic Committee consisted of Heads of the Border Police Services of the Project “Joint comprehensive approach in building co-operation between MARRI and SEPCA Member States’ border police on international airport border crossing points”, took place in Zurich, Switzerland on 17 November 2011, organized in partnership with the Swiss Federal Office for Migration and SEPCA.
The kick-off meeting was dedicated to establishment of permanent inter-regional Working Group/Network for Cooperation. The Project, its objectives, output and envisaged activities were presented and mechanisms for functioning of permanent inter-regional Working Group/Network for Cooperation were explained during this meeting. Also members and contact points of the permanent inter-regional Working Group/Network for Cooperation were identified. FRONTEX attended the meeting as well.
The Project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation – SDC with the co-funding provided by MARRI and SEPCA.
