Snezana Trajanovska, MSc

Ms. Snezana Trajanovska was appointed Director of MARRI Regional Centre as of 1 August 2023.

Prior joining MARRI, Ms. Trajanovska held the position of Head of Foreigners and Readmission Unit, Department for Border Affairs and Migration within the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia.  

Over the course of more than two decades, Ms. Trajanovska has acquired experience in migration management, security and international cooperation. She is particularly experienced in border management, return and readmission as well as asylum and visa policy. Through her career, Ms. Trajanovska has collaborated closely with EU and its agencies, international organisations and governmental institutions contributing to debates and policy development.   

Ms. Trajanovska holds a master’s degree in international law and international relations from the European University – Skopje.
