Trends of Human Trafficking in the Western Balkans 2018-2022

The data provided in this research were collected by the Ministries of Interior/Security of the
MARRI Participants via official communication. The MARRI Network of Coordinators for the
prevention of trafficking in human beings ensured a harmonized approach to data collection at
MARRI authorities. The reference period for this research is 2018 – 2022. In all six MARRI
Participants were requested data on human trafficking based on a pre-prepared template.
