Working meeting with the participation of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the MARRI Participants was held on 26 and 27 November, 2015 in order to work on the legal framework with special focus on the challenges and the issues from the perspective of international and legal cooperation.
On 24th November 2015, in the MARRI RC premises in Skopje, a meeting dedicated on finding possible modalities for safer and more efficient transport of vulnerable migrants between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia at Tabanovce-Miratovac was held the organization of this meeting came after intensified discussion between MARRI and GIZ office in Skopje. Second workshop on the legal framework was held 1 and 2 October 2015 in Skopje, Macedonia. It was an opportunity for the MARRI Participants officials for further regional consultations on the legal framework for use of joint interpretation capacities for rare languages in the Western Balkans region
Project kick-off event was held 3&4 September 2015, in MARRI Regional Centre premises, with addresses by the British Ambassador, H.E. In the framework of the Project “Support of cooperation among border police on airports in Southeast Europe” BORDAIRPOL, MARRI Regional Centre organized the Joint Training on English Language, which took place on 23 and 24 June 2015 in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. Border police units on the main international airports from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Serbia, Romania and Kosovo* attended the Training. The Macedonian MARRI Presidency-in-Office initiated Extraordinary Committee Meeting with goal for better preparation of the MARRI Regional Forum. The MARRI Regional Centre in Skopje, under the Macedonian MARRI Presidency in Office, organized the MARRI Friends/Diplomatic Briefing meeting at the Government premises, on March 10th 2015.
