Sarajevo, 29&30 January 2013 – MARRI Committee Meeting and Regional Ministerial Forum organized by MARRI Presidency-in-Office Bosnia and Herzegovina were held on 29 and 30 January 2013 in Sarajevo. The Committee Meeting was organized in the premises of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BH, chaired by Mr. Mitar Kujundzic, assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Members of MARRI Committee and MARRI National Coordinators from MARRI Member States were present and discussed current MARRI activities and future plans.
MARRI Regional Forum was held on 30 January 2013 in the Parliament Building, chaired by H.E. Mr. Fahrudin Radoncic, Minister of Security of B&H. High level representatives from MARRI Member States, including H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Republic of Serbia, were gathered to discuss MARRI priorities (legal migration and migration statistics) and other relevant migration aspects announced by B&H Presidency. Officials and representatives of EU and international organizations such as Council of Europe, RCC, UNHCR, OHR, RACVIAC, SEPCA, IOM and ICMPD took part in tour-the-table discussion and offered further support and cooperation to MARRI.
