Fourth Meeting of the MARRI Regional Committee held in Tirana

Tirana, Albania – The fourth meeting of the MARRI Regional Committee took place on 04.11.2010 in Tirana, Albania chaired by the Albanian Presidency with the Initiative. High level officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the MARRI Member States and representatives from the respective embassies in Tirana took part in this meeting where the future activities of MARRI were discussed.
This meeting was an occasion to promote and discuss of the Strategy paper and action plan of MARRI for 2011-2013 as well as amendments to the Guidelines and rules of procedure of the MARRI Regional Centre. This meeting through active participation of the delegations is another step towards strengthening the principle of ownership.
