Zagreb, Croatia 08 June 2010 – MARRI Regional Centre and its project partners SEPCA and PCC SEE Secretariat, within the framework of the regional project “Establishment of network for co-operation between border police on international airport border crossing points in MARRI Member States” funded by the Swiss Federal Office for Migration and the Principality of Liechtenstein and co-funded by MARRI organized the second workshop on “Safety and Security on the International Airport”, hosted by the Border Police of the Republic of Croatia, which took place at the Zagreb International Airport on 08 June 2010.
Main objective of the Workshop was to improve Safety and Security on the international airports in MARRI Member States, more specifically techniques and methods used in protection airports and aircrafts from crime and terrorism, screening procedures for passengers, carry and checked baggage and develop recommendations for sustainable solutions.
