Second meeting of the Project Strategic Committee 29 March 2012, Bucharest, Romania

On 29th March 2012 in Bucharest the Second meeting of the Project Strategic Committee consisted of Heads of the Border Police Services of the Project “Joint comprehensive approach in building co-operation between MARRI and SEPCA Member States’ border police on international airport border crossing points” was organized. The event was  organized in partnership with the Romanian Border Police and SEPCA. The meeting was dedicated to the evaluation of the implemented Project activities and progress achieved so far and providing valuable input, coordination and guidance for the further successful implementation of the forthcoming project activities.  Possible accession of Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova to the Memorandum of Understanding on sustainability of established co-operation network between border police units on international airports was also discussed. FRONTEX, Swiss Federal Office for Migration and PCC SEE Secretariat participated to the meeting as well. The Project is funded by the Swiss Confederation with  co-funding provided by MARRI and SEPCA.
