MARRI Regional Committee/MARRI Regional Forum, Bečići, 20-21 April 2010
BEČIĆI, MONTENEGRO – The Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative (MARRI) organized its Regional Committee Meeting and MARRI Regional Forum, under the Montenegrin MARRI Presidency-in-Office, in Bečići – Montenegro on 20 and 21 April 2010.
The meeting of the Regional Committee was organized on 20 April in order to coordinate and discuss the operational issues for 2010.
The host of the MARRI Regional Forum was H.E. Mr. Ivan Brajovic, Minister for Internal Affairs and Public Administration of the Government of Montenegro. Also present were Ministers of Interior from Republic of Albania, Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Serbia, while delegations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia were led by Deputy Minister of Security and State Secretary of Ministry of Interior – respectively. Main conclusions from the Forum include handover of one-year Presidency of MARRI from Montenegro to Albania, and re-election of Dr. Trpe Stojanovski as MARRI Regional Centre Director.
