Skopje, 6 December 2012 – On 6th December 2012, in Skopje, Macedonia, the MARRI Regional Centre organized the promotional ceremony of the publication “MARRI Migration Paper 2012”. The “MARRI Migration Paper 2012” represents an effort of the MARRI Regional Centre to make a comprehensive overview and analysis of the state of play of migration and related areas within the MARRI scope of work, of the achievements and progress made as well as gaps and obstacles encountered in the MARRI migration management during the period covered in this publication. This paper also aims at providing recommendations for the future. The MARRI Migration Paper 2012 is prepared by Prof. Ilo Trajkovski, University “St. Cyril and Methodius”. Minister of Interior Mrs. Gordana Jankuloska and other high level officials from the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, academic institutions, members of diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited to the Republic of Macedonia took part at the promotional ceremony. Director of MARRI RC, PhD Trpe Stojanovski in his opening speech welcomed the participants and made them acquainted with the objective and content of the publication.
