On November 7, 2012 in MARRI Regional Centre premises in Skopje Professor Zlat Milovanovic Ph.D. from the American University held a lecture on the topic “Immigration and population changes in the next 20 years”. In the lecture Professor Milovanovic addressed the multifaceted phenomenon of migration in the Balkan countries as well as worldwide, helping the audience to get deeper insight into this phenomenon.
Diplomats from the Embassies accredited to the Republic of Macedonia, representatives from the Ministry of Interior of Macedonia, State Statistical office, ICMPD and academic communities in Skopje attended the lecture with great interest. It was followed by questions and answers.
The Director of the MARRI RC, Trpe Stojanovski, Ph.D., thanked Professor Milovanovic for the interesting lecture and both of them agreed that this lecture represents the start of further cooperation between the Professor Milovanovic, American University in Macedonia and the MARRI Regional Centre.
