BANJA LUKA, Bosnia and Herzegovina – The preparatory meeting for the next MARRI Regional Forum was held in Banja Luka on 16 April 2007. The meeting was envisaged as the preparation for the MARRI Regional Forum on ministerial level to be held in Sarajevo on 26 April 2007.
The Presidency of the MARRI Regional Forum (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the MARRI Regional Centre in Skopje organised this meeting, with the participation of political directors from MFAs and MOIs from six MARRI Member States and representative of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe.
The purpose of the preparatory meeting was to finalise the arrangements needed for the organisation of the forthcoming MARRI Regional Forum Meeting in Sarajevo, including the main document – Sarajevo Declaration – expected to be adopted during the meeting by ministers and high level political representatives of MARRI Member States.
